Our first night out we met a handful of local students who spoke hardly any English. Fortunately I'd learned a handful of words and phrases by then, so it wasn't that bad. Plus Jef was fluent so that helped too.
This one place on the left had some great live music. Jef used our hostel key to fix our wobbly table, which we forgot when we left and didn't realize until after it closed. Out with our local friends that evening, we convinced them that we had to sleep in the woods if we couldn't get it back.
The \"Amigos do Barroco\", as they called us. We had a great laugh with all of them, and they really made it a fun visit.
